Activities
World Soil Day Celebration
The department observed World Soil Day through awareness activities emphasizing soil conservation and sustainable use of soil resources under the theme “Nurture the Soil thatNurtures Us.”
World AIDS Day Quiz Competition
A quiz competition was conducted to enhance awareness regarding HIV/AIDS, its prevention, diagnosis, and social implications. The programme promoted scientific understanding amongstudents.
Blood Grouping Camp
The department organized a Blood Grouping Camp at Trichambaram U.P. School, Taliparamba, in association with Taliparamba Institute of Medical Sciences. The activity provided students with practical exposure while serving the community through awareness and blood group identification.
Resin Art Initiative
The programme encouraged entrepreneurial skills among students by introducing resin art as a creative and income-generating activity.
Free Blood Pressure Checking Camp
In association with IQAC, the department conducted a free blood pressure screening camp to create awareness about preventive healthcare and the importance of regular health monitoring.
World Environment Day Celebration
TEAM BIOS organized a sapling distribution drive to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices among students and staff.
