Biotechnology Club

The Biotechnology Club – BioVancia at Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies (SSITS) was officially inaugurated on 11th October 2021 by Dr. Khaleel K. M., renowned scientist and Principal of SSITS. The club serves as a vibrant platform for students to explore and advance their knowledge in biotechnology through educational workshops, seminars, guest lectures, laboratory activities, competitions, awareness campaigns, cultural programmes, and various talent development initiatives. These activities help students gain practical exposure to emerging areas such as genetic engineering, bioinformatics, molecular biology, and bioprocessing.

BioVancia also promotes research, innovation, and community engagement by encouraging students to participate in scientific projects, conferences, biotechnology competitions, and outreach programmes. The club organizes industrial visits, field trips, and networking sessions with academicians and industry experts, enabling students to connect with professionals and gain real-world insights into biotechnology. Through collaboration, hands-on learning, and interdisciplinary activities, BioVancia nurtures scientific curiosity, research aptitude, and career readiness among aspiring biotechnologists.
