The Department of Zoology at Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies (SSITS) offers Minor, Multidisciplinary Course (MDC), and Value Added Course (VAC) options under the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP). Zoology is the branch of science that focuses on the study of animals, their diversity, structure, physiology, behaviour, evolution, and interactions with the environment. The curriculum provides students with a strong foundation in animal biology, biodiversity, ecology, genetics, wildlife conservation, and environmental science, emphasizing their relevance to research, healthcare, agriculture, and sustainable development.
