The Skill Development Centre (SDC) aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by providing students with opportunities to develop employability, technical, and life skills. The Centre organizes various training programmes and career-oriented activities to prepare students for higher education, entrepreneurship, and employment.
Objective
- To enhance the employability skills of students.
- To develop technical, professional, and soft skills.
- To promote entrepreneurship and innovation among students.
- To provide career guidance and industry exposure.
- To facilitate skill-based learning through training and certification programmes.

- Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP Kerala)
Activities
The Skill Development Centre conducts orientation programmes, skill development workshops, soft skills and communication training, aptitude and placement training, career guidance sessions, entrepreneurship development programmes, industry interaction programmes, internship and certification opportunities, digital skill training, and awareness programmes in collaboration with K-DISC, ASAP Kerala, and other organizations. The Centre also encourages students to participate in skill enhancement initiatives that improve their employability and overall professional development.
