The College Union at Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies (SSITS) plays a crucial role in fostering student engagement, representation, and leadership development within the institution. The College Union at SSITS serves as the primary representative body for students, advocating for their interests and concerns within the institution. Comprising elected student representatives, the Union acts as a bridge between students, faculty, and administration, facilitating communication and collaboration to enhance the overall student experience.
The Union Council

2. The Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary & Jt. Secretary of the College Union
3. Secretary of each of the various subject associations
4. One representative each of the various classes as I, II & III Degree and PG
5. Secretary, Fine Arts
6. Student Editor of the College Magazine
7. General Captain, Sports and Games
8. The Staff Advisor nominated by the Principal
9.The University Union Councillors (Two)
OBJECTIVES
- To train students of the college in the duties and rights of citizen.
- To promote opportunities for the development of character, leadership, efficiency, knowledge and spirit of service among students.
- Organize sports, arts and other cultural and recreational activities.
- To take all such other activities that are relevant and incidental to the objectives of the University Union.
Union Executive Committee
The Union Secretary shall act as the Secretary of the Executive Committee. The Union council shall meet at the beginning of the academic year and formulate its activities for the year. It shall also meet subsequently whenever necessary. The Staff Advisor will provide advice for the effective and smooth functioning of the College Union. Secretary/Staff Advisor shall keep the minutes of all meeting in the Union Register Book.

Organizational Leadership: The Union oversees the organization and coordination of various student activities, events, and initiatives on campus. It supports and collaborates with student clubs, societies, and organizations to promote a vibrant and inclusive campus community.

Cultural and Social Events: The Union organizes cultural, social, and recreational events throughout the academic year to promote student engagement and foster a sense of belonging. These events provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents, celebrate diversity, and build friendships.

Academic Support: The Union works to enhance the academic experience of students by organizing academic support services, study groups, and workshops. It collaborates with faculty and academic departments to address academic challenges and promote student success.
