Plastic-Free Campus Initiative at SSITS

At Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies (SSITS), we are dedicated to fostering a sustainable and environmentally friendly campus. As part of this commitment, we have launched a Plastic-Free Campus Initiative to reduce the use of single-use plastics and promote sustainable practices among our students, faculty, and staff. This initiative encourages the use of eco-friendly alternatives to plastic, such as reusable water bottles, cloth bags, and biodegradable materials. Throughout the campus, we have installed water refill stations, compost bins to support these efforts.By going plastic-free, SSITS aims to minimize plastic waste, reduce our environmental impact, and set an example for responsible consumption. Our initiative also includes educational campaigns and workshops that raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic pollution and the importance of sustainable living.
