On the 4th of February, 2025, in a commendable demonstration of altruism and social responsibility, Biovancia, the esteemed Biotechnology Club, in strategic collaboration with the Be Positive Blood Donation Group, orchestrated a profoundly impactful Hair Donation Camp within the premises of the Institute. This philanthropic initiative was meticulously designed to extend support to individuals battling cancer, specifically those grappling with the distressing challenge of chemotherapy-induced alopecia.

The ceremonious inauguration of the event was presided over by the distinguished Dr. Siraj MVP, Principal of SSITS, whose presence underscored the significance of this benevolent endeavor. The event witnessed the voluntary participation of approximately eight compassionate students from Sir Syed Higher Secondary School and four dedicated students from SSITS, each contributing a portion of their hair to serve as a beacon of hope for those in need. Further elevating the humanitarian spirit of the occasion, a parent, moved by the profound impact of the cause, also stepped forward to make a selfless contribution, reinforcing the ethos of communal solidarity and compassion.
