The official inauguration of the 20th anniversary celebration was held on 22nd August 2024. The inaugural speaker was Dr. Anup Kumar Kesavan, Research Director, Kannur University. In his inaugural address, he encouraged the students to come ahead in their lives and commended the Department for its varied efforts in giving the best to their students. In recognition of their achievements, University Rank holders, JRF Holders and Class toppers were honoured on the occasion. The day's chief guest, guitarist Shareef V, officially opened Biotech Utsav, the Arts and Cultural Fest held in conjunction with the celebrations of the 20th anniversary. The guitarist gave an incredibly soulful performance which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone present. The students came up with a variety of entertaining acts which was a refreshing break for them from the usual academic routines. Biotech utsav turned out to be an exciting and vibrant event.
