As an extension activity, a Biotechnology workshop was conducted on 4^th October 2024, for Higher Secondary students of Tagore Vidyaniketan, Taliparamba. The workshop was inaugurated by Principal, Dr. Khaleel K.M. On 29 November, 2024, a workshop was conducted for students of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Sreekandapuram.The session was inaugurated by Head of the Department, Dr. Siraj MVP.

During the workshop, the students were given demonstrations on DNA Isolation, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis and Plant Tissue Culture protocols, by the faculties , assisted by the PG students of the Department. The participants were also given an opportunity to familiarize with the lab equipments used for Biotechnology experiments.
