To provide students with an opportunity to learn a new skill, earn while learning, and promote entrepreneurship, the PG Department of Microbiology conducted a workshop on crochet making on March 10, 2025, in Room No. 16. The program was inaugurated by Nizamudheen K M, Head of the Department of Microbiology. The session was led by Niranjana Sunil K P, a first-year BSc Microbiology student and crochet expert, who guided participants in creating various crochet items. Students not only learned the art of crochet making but also produced a variety of items that were sold among students, teachers, and non-teaching staff. This initiative allowed students to earn while learning, fostering financial independence and entrepreneurial skills.
