Department of Commerce, Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies, established in 2002, is one of the prominent departments in the college, that provides B.Com courses Under Kannur University.

With the vision "To promote education and skill in different avenues of Commerce for the benefit of students and society" the Department of Commerce is functioning from the time when the college started. The department with a superior academic environment aims at providing opportunity for higher education. The members of the faculty are highly qualified and have specialization in different fields.

The department has full-fledged and well-equipped teaching facilities that includes the computer lab facility for each students. The department offers four UG programmes:B.Com Co-operation, B.Com Computer Application, B.Com Finance and B.Com Marketing.
