On the 11th of August 2023, a distinguished ceremony took place to recognize the outstanding achievements of university rank holders in both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) examinations. This event was dedicated to honoring the exceptional students who secured top positions in the 2023 Kannur University examinations.

Among the esteemed awardees, Amaya K V secured the third rank in the B.Sc Microbiology examination, while Aysha C H and Arthana K distinguished themselves by attaining the first and second ranks, respectively, in the M.Sc Microbiology examinations. These accomplished students were not only recognized but also presented with cash prizes and mementos in appreciation of their academic excellence.

Furthermore, mementos were thoughtfully extended to UG students who achieved A+ and A grades in their university examinations, emphasizing the celebration of academic diligence. The event was graced by the presence of the esteemed Chief Guest, Adv. P. Mahamood, President of CDMEA. It commenced with a warm welcome speech delivered by Mr. Nizamudheen K M, the Head of the Microbiology Department, followed by the Principal, Dr. Khaleel K M, delivering the presidential address. The felicitation of the function was carried out by Mahamood Allamkulam, Secretary of CDMEA.
