On August 14, 2023, a Mushroom Cultivation Workshop was organized in the Seminar Hall, by the Department of Microbiology in collaboration with IQAC. 

Mrs. Chitralekha, a well-known mushroom farmer hailing from Farm Fresh Mushrooms in Anjarakkandy, was the resource person. Her expertise was reflected throughout the workshop as she provided an educational and practical exploration of mushroom cultivation. Through hands-on training, she meticulously conveyed the methods and techniques, empowering the students with the knowledge to undertake future cultivation independently.

The event commenced with a warm welcome speech from the Coordinator, Mrs. Nadira Sabakka. Mr. Nizamudheen K M, the Head of the Department, presided over the proceedings, and the workshop was inaugurated by College Principal K.M. Khaleel. Mrs. Susmitha VP delivered felicitations, while Ms. Fidha Fathima C K, a student of the Fifth semester BSc Microbiology, extended a gracious vote of thanks to the participants, concluding this enriching and informative workshop.
