The Microbiology Association was officially inaugurated on January 25, 2024, with Dr. Tajo Abraham, Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Sir Syed College, Taliparamba, presiding over the ceremony. Mrs. Nadira Sabaka, Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology, was recognized for achieving the top position in the Kerala PSC Microbiologist (Food Safety Department) exam. Additionally, Fathimath Risana, a fourth-semester BSc Microbiology student, was honored for her outstanding performance as the best female camper in the NSS camp during 2023-24. The event featured various cultural programs organized by the students. The Head of Department, Nizamudheen, delivered the welcoming address, while the Principal, Dr. K.M. Khaleel, chaired the event. Thanseera, the Association Secretary, conveyed the vote of thanks. The conclusion of the ceremony saw students showcasing their talents through diverse cultural performances.
