The Department of Microbiology organized a day-long excursion to Coorg, Karnataka, with second-year BSc Microbiology students.  The students were accompanied by  Tutor Mumthas, Head of Department Mr. Nizamudheen, and Teacher Javatha. The journey commenced at 5 am, boarding a chartered bus. The itinerary included visits to historically and environmentally significant sites such as the Tibetan Monastery, Bamboo Forest, and Dubara Elephant Camp. The group returned by 7 pm, reaching Kannur by 11 pm.
