The Department of Microbiology organized a day and two night long excursion to Otty, Tamil Nadu, with second-year BSc Microbiology students.  The students were accompanied by  4 faculties,  Sirajunnisa C.H,  Nizamudheen,  Prashina Mol and Ameer K. The journey commenced at 10 pm on 11 December 2024, boarding a chartered bus. The itinerary included visits to the Botanical garden, boat house, Tea factory and chocolate factory. The group returned by 10 pm, reaching Kannur by 6 am on 13 December 2024.
