On February 12, 2025, the Postgraduate Department of Microbiology organized a visit to Guardian Angels Care Home, Payangadi. A team of 57 students and four faculty members took part in this initiative. The group departed from the college at 11:00 AM by the college bus and arrived at the care home by 11:30 AM. In preparation for the visit, essential items for the residents were collected over a week through contributions from students, teachers, and parents. These included soap, detergent, toothpaste, adult diapers, hair oil, biscuits, bread, rusks, toothbrushes, coconut oil, sugar, tea powder, plastic buckets, mugs, bath towels, and clothing. A homemade lunch was brought along to be shared with the residents. An interactive session was also arranged, where students and residents engaged in meaningful conversations.
