The Department of Microbiology, Thaliparamba Sir Syed Institute, organized a felicitation ceremony to honor students who secured university ranks in the Kannur University 2025 undergraduate and postgraduate examinations in Microbiology.

The programme was formally inaugurated by Adv. P. Mahmood, President of CDMEA, and presided over by Dr. Siraj M.V.P., Principal of the Institute. The event was graced by Dr. Ramesan K., Associate Professor at Kannur Government Medical College, who attended as the Chief Guest. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Allamkulam Mahmood, General Secretary of CDMEA.

The formal session commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Nizamudheen K.M., Head of the Department of Microbiology, followed by felicitations from Mr. Abdurahman Peruvana.

In recognition of academic excellence, Ms. Geethika Rajesh and Ms. Fathima V.K., who secured the first and second ranks respectively in the B.Sc. Microbiology examination, were honored with mementoes and cash prizes. In the postgraduate category, Ms. Nafeesatul Missiriya, Ms. Fathima Hiba, and Ms. Ansia, who secured the first three university ranks in the M.Sc. Microbiology examination, were felicitated with cash prizes and gifts. Additionally, toppers of UG and PG classes who achieved A+ and A grades were also recognized with mementoes. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Fathimath Shaza.

The programme proved to be a memorable occasion, celebrating the academic excellence of students and motivating their peers to pursue higher achievements with dedication and perseverance.
