Career Jwala - Career Seminar

The Placement cell of Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies, Taliparamba,successfully organized a career-driven session titled “Career Jwala - Career Seminar” on 28th July 2025 at the seminar hall. The session aimed to provide valuable guidance to students regarding career opportunities, skill development, and job market awareness.
The seminar began with a Welcome Speech by Arshad K P, Placement Cell Co-ordinator, warmly welcomed the dignitaries, trainers, faculty members, and students. He outlined the purpose of the seminar and emphasized the role of the Placement Cell in shaping students future.
Mrs.Prajitha T V, Staff Secretary, delivered the presidential address, highlighting the significance of skill development alongside academic excellence. She urged students to actively explore opportunities presented by such initiatives.
The seminar was officially inaugurated by Dr. Siraj M.V.P, Principal of SSITS. In his address, he stressed the importance of career awareness programs in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry demands.
Mr.Ummer, Superintendent, felicitated the event and appreciated the collaborative efforts of the organizers. He encouraged students to leverage guidance programs for professional success.
Two expert career trainers conducted engaging sessions:
· Krishnaraj P, Deputy Chief, University Employment Informations & Guidance Bureau, Kannur University, shared insights on emerging job opportunities, interview preparation strategies, and the skills required in today’s competitive market. He also discussed the importance of adaptability and lifelong learning.
· Anju M P, Career Trainer, focused on personal development, communication skills, and building confidence for career success. She guided students on how to set realistic career goals and work towards achieving them.
The seminar saw enthusiastic participation from students across different courses at SSITS. The interactive nature of the sessions encouraged students to ask questions, share their concerns, and seek personalized advice from the trainers.
