Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies (SSITS), affiliated to Kannur University, observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 26 June 2025 at 10:00 AM. The programme was organized by the Anti-Drug Committee in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the Physical Education Department.

The event aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse under the theme “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life.” The programme included an orientation session, Anti-Drug Day pledge, mass run, flash mob, and poster exhibition.

Students actively participated in all activities, making the programme a meaningful effort toward promoting a drug-free campus and society.
