The Biodiversity Club and National Service Scheme (NSS) of Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2025 with the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution.”

The programme aimed to create awareness about environmental protection and promote sustainable practices among students and staff. As part of the celebration, activities such as tree planting, awareness programmes, and initiatives to promote a plastic-free campus were conducted.

The event emphasized the message “One Earth, One Future”, encouraging everyone to take responsibility for protecting the environment and reducing plastic usage. Students actively participated in the activities, making the programme meaningful and impactful.
